Pineapple Jalapeño Agua Fresca (Printer View)

Pineapple, lime and jalapeño blended with agave and water, strained and served over ice for a cool, zesty summer sip.

# Components:

→ Fruit & Vegetables

01 - 4 cups fresh pineapple, peeled and cubed
02 - 1 medium jalapeño, seeded for milder heat and chopped
03 - 1 lime, juiced

→ Liquids & Sweeteners

04 - 3 cups cold water
05 - 2 tablespoons agave syrup or granulated sugar, adjust to taste
06 - Ice cubes, as needed

# Method:

01 - Place pineapple, chopped jalapeño, lime juice, agave syrup (or sugar) and cold water into a blender.
02 - Blend on high until completely smooth and uniform in texture, about 30–45 seconds depending on blender power.
03 - Sample and adjust sweetness or heat: add additional agave or sugar for sweetness or more jalapeño (with seeds for extra heat) to increase spice.
04 - If a smoother mouthfeel is desired, pour the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve into a pitcher, pressing with a spatula to extract the liquid and discard the pulp.
05 - Fill glasses with ice, pour the chilled beverage over the ice, and garnish with a pineapple wedge or jalapeño slice as preferred.

  • Keep a second batch (without ice) in the fridge if you’re expecting guests—the first pitcher always goes fast.
  • Sometimes, a pinch of salt added just before serving unlocks the sweetness for an addictive sip.
