04 - Pour in vegetable broth and bring to a gentle simmer. Cook, stirring occasionally, for 8 to 10 minutes until orzo is al dente and liquid is mostly absorbed.
05 - Reduce heat to low. Stir in heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, dried Italian herbs, and red pepper flakes if using. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes until the sauce is creamy and well combined.
06 - Fold in baby spinach and stir until wilted. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
