Save A creative and delicious way to transform your holiday leftovers into a crispy, satisfying wrap, inspired by the viral tortilla hack.
I first tried this wrap using my Thanksgiving leftovers, and it became an instant favorite with my family.
Ingredients
- Leftovers: 1 cup cooked turkey, shredded or sliced, 1 cup stuffing (herb or sausage as preferred), 1/2 cup cranberry sauce, 1/2 cup gravy (optional for dipping or drizzling)
- Dairy: 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella or Swiss cheese
- Wraps: 2 large flour tortillas (10-inch)
- For cooking: 2 teaspoons butter or olive oil
Instructions
- Step 1:
- Lay a tortilla flat on a cutting board. Using a knife, cut a single straight line from the center of the tortilla outwards to the edge (only one cut).
- Step 2:
- Visualize the tortilla as four quarters. On the first quarter, place half of the turkey. On the second quarter, evenly spread half of the stuffing. On the third quarter, add half of the cranberry sauce. On the fourth quarter, sprinkle half of the cheese.
- Step 3:
- Starting with the cut, fold the first quarter over the second, then the third, then the fourth, creating a layered, triangle-shaped wrap.
- Step 4:
- Repeat with the second tortilla and remaining ingredients.
- Step 5:
- Heat butter or olive oil in a nonstick skillet over medium heat. Place the wraps seam-side down and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
- Step 6:
- Serve warm, with gravy on the side for dipping if desired.
Save This wrap quickly became a favorite at family gatherings, bringing smiles and full bellies.
